Viterra uses ICAM for continuous improvement
ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) is a training program commonly used in the mining sector. But agricultural company, Viterra, is using it to not only improve outcomes from safety investigations, but to build capability in investigations for overall business improvement.
Viterra asked us to deliver ICAM training to cross-function staff from across South Australia. It wanted more focus on practical investigation skills, so we tailored ICAM to a more practical, non-accredited, course with more emphasis on role playing and exercises.
New supervisor skill-sets for developing others
It can be difficult for supervisors, particularly those new to the role, to know how to get the best out of their team members. But it is essential they do, as research shows that supervisors drive employee engagement. We’ve developed several, accredited, skillsets to help supervisors in any industry to be more effective in their role, sooner.
We customise and contextualise the skillsets using competencies from accredited Leadership and Management as well as the Mentoring unit from Training and Assessment Education (TAE40116) qualifications.
New Cert IV in leadership and management
Did you know that the BSB42015 Cert IV in Leadership & Management was superseded late last year by an equivalent course BSB40520. The new course gives you the latest content and resources to match current industry standards.
We’re commencing the new course from July. NSW Government Smart and Skilled training subsidies remain available for this new course.
Job Keeper ends. TAE40116 Training offers new careers
Job Keeper is ending but Job Trainer, Skilling for Recovery, and other government training stimulus packages continue.
That means there are career opportunities in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. The TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment is an essential qualification to work in this sector.
Forsythes Training offers more options than ever before to complete this challenging Qualification. Offering both Weekday and Saturday programs, face to face and virtual classrooms, plus one on one support for our TAE40116 students – View Student Support Days.
