Chris has over 22 years’ experience in the Vocational Education and Training industry including design, development, delivery and assessment of accredited and non-accredited training programs for corporate, commercial, industry, Indigenous groups and Youth facing barriers.
Chris brings this diverse experience to both Face to Face and Online learning environments. Chris has over 14 years experience in the delivery of TAE with 10 years experience in delivery of Training and Assessment content first via Adobe Connect and the last 5 years via Zoom and Teams
Chris has a passion for current and future trends changing the way we train and assess our participants, including many years’ experience facilitating synchronous learning in Virtual classrooms and asynchronous learning in the CANVAS and Moodle Learning Management System.
Chris involves her participants with interactive and collaborative training, with a relaxed and enjoyable delivery style, using group based training techniques to maximise engagement and learning retention.
After many years training across both Hospitality and TAE Training packages, Chris now specialises in the delivery of the TAE22 Training package Qualifications and Skill sets, with a passion for delivery of the TAELLN411 Address adult LLN skills unit, bringing over 10 years’ of authentic experience training participants in Hospitality with low LLN levels to her delivery of this unit, drawing on her experience training Youth facing barriers, and Indigenous Tiwi Islanders in the Northern Territory, both groups learner characteristics included limited schooling and varying learning difficulties.
