World Day for Safety & Health at Work and Workers’ Memorial Day (Sunday April 28) puts the spotlight on WHS training.
This year, the theme is a safe and healthy future of work. Safety experts and authorities such as Safe Work Australia are urging organisations and businesses to promote a safe and healthy workplace. That includes planning and adapting to the future of work.
Safe Work Australia says employment and workplaces are changing as digital technologies and automation become more common. With an ageing workforce, and rising levels of stress, we need to make future workplaces safe and healthy. So, businesses need to reduce the risk of workplace injury.
Training plays an important part in that planning process.
Forsythes Training offers nationally recognised qualifications as well as selected units of competency in WHS. Our expert mental health trainer, Craig Semple, offers mental health first aid training and workshops to create mentally healthy workplaces.
