Operating since 1987 North Construction & Building is the largest locally owned and operated commercial construction business on the New South Wales Central Coast.
We are committed to the ongoing support and development of our people to ensure that we are operating with a high performing, adaptable and flexible workforce.
North have worked closely with Forsythes training in developing a customised leadership program for our aspiring leaders across the business offering them a chance to learn, share, lead and grow. Forsythes training have been instrumental in providing a customised leadership program and achieving outstanding results.
Some of the key outcomes we have noted are:
- An evident change in how they manage people and work relationships adapting their style to different employees, managers and other key stakeholders
- Managing time more efficiently both individually and within their teams
- Improved communication with both team members and management to ensure the best result is achieved.
- Managing stress and pressure in a more controlled way which in the environment we work is critical.
- Increased confidence in their ability to manage and lead their teams.
- Improved negotiation skills
Our plan for 2017 is to continue to work closely with Forsythes Training to offer this training to other areas of the business, being our Administrative & Accounts Team Leaders, Building cadets, contracts administrators and 4th year apprentices.
We look forward to watching these future leaders grow and utilise their skills as they develop in their careers and within our business.
