Component One -Upgrade Core TAE40116 to TAE40122 units

If you hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, you will have nine core units that this targeted TAE40122 Upgrade pathway allows you to efficiently upgrade to nine of the 12 units required under the new TAE40122, — building on the skills and competency already achieved.

Delivered by Forsythes Training, this upgrade is compliant, streamlined and audit-ready, giving you confidence your qualification meets current regulatory expectations.

Component One – Upgrade pathway to ten of the 12 Units in TAE40122

  • Five days structured training
  • Maximum of 15 participants per trainer
  • DCT’s for nominated unit/s
  • Optional One day for 1 x 30 minute group deliveries & 2 x 30 minute individual deliveries – included in the program*- Or workplace recordings

Component Two – Balance of the Qualification

Component Two is designed to complete the final two elective units needed to transition from TAE40116 to TAE40122, aligned strictly to the TAE40122 packaging rules.

After achieving TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, participants may undertake TAE50116 Diploma in Vocational Education and Training or TAE50216 Diploma in Training Design and Development.

Entry Requirement

Learners will need to supply their full TAE40116 Transcript and verification.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop and must be comfortable in completing the following tasks on a computer:

  • Saving documents to folders
  • Saving documents to the cloud
  • Easily accessing/locating files on their computer quickly
  • Using tables to complete templates
  • Able to minimize, reduce page size, open files

Participants will also need to have access to Microsoft Word.

You will be asked to complete a series of questions relating to your previous employment and training history. You will be required to agree to and provide written permission for Forsythes Training to contact your employer.

Recognition of Prior Learning

For participants not wishing to attend classroom workshops, skills recognition through an assessment only pathway is available through a formal RPL application process where previous industry experience applies.

AQF Qualifications and Statements of Attainment are recognised at enrolment or during the course through the Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer process, provided qualifications are relevant to the course undertaken are current.
