This two-day train the trainer course teaches practical skills to assist you in the development of short courses and team training sessions that will make a positive difference in achieving desired training outcomes. You’ll learn how to determine what training is required and how to structure and sequence learning material to meet the needs of the participants and the organisation. You’ll also develop an understanding of how people learn, different modes of delivery, how to capture and retain attention, and how to successfully facilitate a group to achieve maximum learning
DAY ONE
- Identify own learning styles
- Key principles of adult learning
- Learn how to communicate one’s message effectively
- Design & Plan the delivery of a short training session
- Prepare and deliver a training session of 15 minute per person.
- Evaluate peers and also receive feedback from them during class
DAY TWO
- Develop techniques to overcome barriers to learning
- Learn to construct assessments to validate the learning
- Gain techniques for providing encouragement and coaching during the training process
- Build on what was learnt in day 1 and present a topic refining skills and adopting feedback provided from day 1
- Conduct second training session
- Evaluate their peers and also receive feedback from them during class
