  • RIIRIS301E: Apply Risk Management Processes – This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to apply risk management processes in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational or supervisory roles.
  • RIICOM301E: Communicate Information – This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to communicate in the workplace within the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.
  • RIIWHS301E: Conduct Health & Safety Investigations – This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to conduct safety and health investigations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in technical specialist roles.
  • RIIRIS402E: Carry out the risk management processes – This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to carry out risk management processes in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit it appropriate for those working in supervisory roles.

Assessment Methodology

Assessments may utilise the following methods:

  • Include assignment and/or demonstration through questioning either verbal or written, understanding of the underpinning knowledge of the competencies
  • Demonstration of practical skill in a workplace or simulated environment
  • Recognition of prior learning and current competency
  • Third party documentation, interview processes and employer support documentation
