About this course
This course will help you to understand leadership styles so you can lead more efficient and effective teams, develop better working relationships and understand workplace support, staff productivity and retention.
You will complete a DiSC personality profile to gain an insight into your leadership style, including whether you are task or people focused. You will receive a DiSC report and action plan, plus tools to take back to the workplace.
This two day course will cover:
- developing self-awareness and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills
- developing relationships and working effectively with those above and below you
- promoting positive conflict management
- driving personal development
- enhancing leadership engagement
- communicating more effectively, including how to really listen to other people
- ways to self manage and self correct your management approach.
An optional third day (post course) provides group coaching to further embed and practice the skills and tools.
Emotional intelligence (EQ) and communication skills are recognised time and again as essential skills leaders need to be successful. But many leaders aren’t sufficiently skilled in these areas. You’ll learn how to be more emotionally intelligent as well as how to identify and foster emotional intelligence in your team members too.
This leadership and management course is ideal for:
- people moving into step-up, leadership or supervisor roles
- subject matter experts that now lead diverse teams
- leaders, managers and supervisors who manage people or teams.
