Prerequisites
This course requires at least an Intermediate – Level 2 knowledge of Microsoft Excel with at least several months’ experience in using Excel at this level prior to attending Power BI Level 1.
Is Power BI the same as Excel?
Power BI does not edit, add or change data like Excel does. It allows the creation of powerful dashboards and visually appealing graphical visualisations of existing data provided by Excel and other programs. It also leverages powerful tools to tidy up and fully normalise data from Excel into “Fact” and “Dimension” tables to allow much more efficient manipulation of the data.
