This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Target group is for individuals wishing to obtain the foundation delivery skill to meet VET system requirements.
The E-Learning TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set includes two units of competency from the full TAE40122 Certificate IV Training and Assessment:
TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction
TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector
These units provide credit towards TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units.
Participants design and deliver training content to conduct 3 x 30 minute training sessions. As an E-Learning student you will need to Video record yourself conducting the training sessions and upload these for marking.

The new Unit TAEDEL311 – 2 x 30min one-on-one training sessions to two different adult learners
Course Schedule
Online self paced enrolment is for 6 months.
You will be provided with suggested assessment submission due dates to ensure you are progressing well throughout your enrolment period.
Computer Skills and Requirements
To complete this qualification via E-Learning , students must have access to:
Reliable internet access

Participants must be computer literate and be experienced in the following computer functionality.
Creating new folders
Saving documents to folders
Saving documents to the cloud
Easily accessing/locating files on their computer quickly
Using tables to complete templates
How to minimize, reduce page size, open files
How to split screens or have access to two screens one for interaction with trainer the second to access assessment materials
Record and upload videos to Canvas
Participants will also need to have access to Microsoft Word.

After achieving TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set, participants may wish to also undertake TAE40122 Ceritficate IV in training and Assessement.

You will be required to demonstrate vocational competency in your proposed teaching area.
Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
You will also be asked to complete a series of questions relating to your previous employment and training history
Complete an online enrolment to demonstrate computer literacy
As stipulated by ASQA students completing the unit TAEDEL311 via E-Learning /virtually; must be able to video record their 3 x 30 min work skill instruction and presentation sessions for assessment marking by Forsythes Assessor (students will need a group of two adults for the delivery of their first session, and two other adults for 2 x individual sessions).
Participants are required to have their own laptop/ desktop computer and must be comfortable in completing the following tasks on a computer:

Saving documents to the cloud
Easily accessing/locating files on their computer quickly
Using tables to complete templates
Able to minimize, reduce page size, open files
Participants will also need to have access to Microsoft Word.
Recognition of Prior Learning
For participants not wishing to attend classroom workshops, skills recognition through an assessment only pathway is available through a formal RPL application process where previous industry experience applies.
