This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Target group is for individuals wishing to obtain the foundation delivery skill to meet VET system requirements.
These units provide credit towards TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units.
Participants design and deliver training content to conduct 3 x 30 minute training sessions in Class.
A nationally recognised Skill Set in training and assessment.
Complete our nationally recognised TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set and gain the experience and skill set needed to become a work skill instructor. Forsythes Training fully certified Trainers & Assessors provide support through your course to ensure you feel confident to complete your studies.

Course Schedule
Participants must attend clustered units in a block of consecutive training days.
You will be required to demonstrate vocational competency in your proposed teaching area.
Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
You may also be asked to complete a series of questions relating to your previous employment and training history
Complete an online enrolment to demonstrate computer literacy
Participants are required to bring their own laptop and must be comfortable in completing the following tasks on a computer:
Saving documents to folders
Saving documents to the cloud
Easily accessing/locating files on their computer quickly
Using tables to complete templates
Able to minimize, reduce page size, open files
Participants will also need to have access to Microsoft Word.
Recognition of Prior Learning
For participants not wishing to attend classroom workshops, skills recognition through an assessment only pathway is available through a formal RPL application process where previous industry experience applies.
A Recognition kit will need to be completed. Please click here to view the detailed information for RPL for the full qualification.
