Forsythes Training requires our certificate IV WHS attendees to be currently employed and have access to a work environment where they can access workplace documents, implement feedback and changes in controls.
If you are currently unemployed you would need a letter from a past employer or a company detailing the above “workplace” access.
Overview
BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is suitable for people working in a WHS role who may or may not work under supervision. They may provide guidance and leadership to others whilst having limited responsibility for others; includes co-ordinators, advisors and facilitators.
Work Health and Safety courses focus on more than just safety, they also covers the overall well-being of workers in all environments, risk analysis and ensuring workers are able to resume work following injuries.
Forsythes Training can deliver the program via face to face public scheduled programs in Newcastle, virtual classrooms or as a dedicated training event.
The BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is made up of 10 units of competence – 5 core units and 5 elective units.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety Qualification Rules
A total of ten units , five core plus five electives of which three must be from group A.
Other electives can be selected from Group B or any current endorsed certificate IV qualification. One elective may be from Certificate III or Diploma qualification.
