Congratulations to all the winners and finalists of the NSW Training Awards (Hunter), especially Madison Candy (pictured below) who took out Overall Apprentice of the Year 2020 – Hunter Region .
Forsythes Training was a platinum sponsor of the celebration of excellence in training apprentices and trainees. That included sponsoring the highly anticipated Apprentice of the Year Award.
The awards were announced via the NSW Training Facebook page on June 22 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Winners will compete at the NSW Training Awards.
The event used to be called the Hunter Region Apprenticeship and Traineeship Awards, and is organised by the Hunter Region Apprenticeship and Traineeship Advisory (HRATA) Committee. Forsythes Training Director, Julie Carroll, sits on the HRATA Executive.
Julie said the event was initially cancelled but organisers did a great job to enable the event to go ahead.
“It is important that we recognise the Hunter’s talented VET students, as well as the talented businesses/employers and the teachers/trainers behind those students,” Julie said.
“Forsythes Training has been a platinum sponsor of the awards for more than a decade,” she said.
