The TAE40122 qualification typically takes 5 months to complete, however you will have 12 months to complete your training.

For both face to face and virtual classroom training, a basic level of competence with computers is required to successfully complete the training material, parts of your qualification involve:

• Designing assessments instruments
• Preparing a training session
• Preparing a lesson plan

You will need to be able to do the following:

• Navigate internet
• Email
• Cut and paste in MS Word
• Save and open a document
• Zip File
• Upload documents and videos.

Virtual classroom content also involves interactive e-learning materials and recorded key learning and assessment tips to help reinforce workshop content.

Recognised prior learning (RPL)  is really challenging for the TAE40122 qualification as unless you have worked as a trainer and assessor in the past, it’s often easier to complete the assessment tasks than apply for RPL.
